About the team
The Product Marketing team at smallcase drives product-led growth by shaping user journeys, optimising conversion funnels, and scaling feature adoption across product lines. We sit at the intersection of Product, Analytics, and Business, turning complex financial instruments into intuitive, high-converting user experiences.
About the role
As an Assistant Product Marketing Manager, you will be the creative fuel behind top-of-funnel campaigns and on-product growth for global markets. This is a role for someone early in their PMM journey — or transitioning into it — who brings creativity, curiosity, and a genuine enthusiasm for the product. You’ll work on real campaigns and real launches from day one, with full support and structured learning along the way.
No prior PMM experience? That’s okay. If you’re coming from content or social, and want to transition to a growth role, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
Driving Top of the Funnel:

Plan and execute weekly top-of-funnel campaigns, working closely with the brand and paid marketing teams.

Stay on top of market trends and quickly turn them into topical campaigns that drive awareness.

Owning the Investment Lifecycle:

Craft journeys both on-product (using marketing-owned product assets like Landing Pages, Collections, Banners, App Stories), off-product (comms: WhatsApp, Push Notifications, Emails, RCS via CPaaS tools), and automated journeys to help customers move ahead in their investment journey.

Support A/B testing and copy experimentation on these assets in collaboration with the product team.

Driving GTMs for New Launches:

Own end-to-end Go-To-Market execution for new product and feature launches, contributing to awareness and early adoption goals.

Craft user-facing messaging that translates product specs into clear, compelling value propositions.

Learning the PMM Craft:

Work alongside senior PMMs on lifecycle strategy, cohort thinking, and campaign attribution — building the skills to own full funnels independently over time.

Bring ideas to the table proactively, and be willing to experiment, fail fast, and iterate.

You are the right fit if
Your background looks like one of these:

You have 1–3 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or a related field, and you’re ready to move into growth.

You’re a fresh post-graduate (MBA, Mass Comm, Journalism, or similar) looking to apply your learning as real growth tactics.

You’re an early-career PMM or content-oriented marketer who values creativity and wants more growth responsibility.

If you have prior investing experience in US market or experience in managing campaigns for US Stock Market, it’ll be a huge plus

You have these traits:

Highly creative — you generate ideas quickly and know how to shape them for different audiences.

Self-starter — you notice what needs doing and take initiative without waiting to be asked.

Product-curious — you’re interested in how smallcase works and want to invest time to understand and use the product.

Strong writer — you can draft crisp, engaging copy across formats (short-form, long-form, in-app).

Bias for action — you thrive in a fast-moving environment and are comfortable with quick turnarounds.

Willing to learn — you embrace feedback, pick up new tools quickly, and don’t shy away from data.
