OUR STORY
Shopflo was born out of the pains of 100+ founders running D2C businesses sharing their frustration,
“I lose 60-70% of my visitors in the checkout funnel. It's not that order but all subsequent orders they would have made. This is after all the wining & dining we did with ads, beautiful product pages, and so so many reviews. It is only getting harder with scale as I end up paying ~30-50% of my revenues to Facebook and Google for acquisition”
On asking if this is such a big problem - Why haven’t they solved it yet?
We heard,
“The platforms we run on, don’t allow for any changes to the checkout experience. All of this is too complex. We want to focus on building our brand”
Shopflo is building a simple yet powerful checkout experience that minimized cognitive load for end consumers in completing their purchases and improving their conversions.
MISSION
An independent e-commerce merchant should be able to deliver top-notch consumer experiences. Similar to retail behemoths like Amazon, Flipkart, and Swiggy.
Our mission is to level the playing field on technology for the challenger D2C merchants.

Our decisions and priorities come from working backward from our merchants’ most important problems.
Race to goals keeping the highest bar on output.
We work towards an agreed 3-4 goals, truly embodying a sprint mindset. But in no case, we can compromise on quality i.e. trust put on us by merchants
Individual opinion over the collective alignment.
We don’t believe in being aligned all the time. It’s a euphemism for conformity to the norm. To achieve the supernormal, we want everyone to be capable of thinking independently.
Collaboration over individual silos.
Hard problems require more than one brain working in tandem to crack.
Caring meritocracy.
We care for each other and that means being completely transparent with feedback. We value meritocracy over all else - position, age, experience, department are no bar in any discussion at Shopflo.
