Role Overview
We are looking for an Analyst / Senior Analyst – Sustainability Finance to support ESG reporting, sustainability disclosures, and data management across global operations.
The role involves hands-on execution of ESG reporting, GHG accounting, ESG ratings submissions, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring high-quality, audit-ready sustainability data.
Key Responsibilities 1. ESG Reporting &amp; Sustainability Disclosures
<ul>
<li>Prepare and support sustainability reports aligned with GRI, SASB, TCFD/ISSB, TNFD frameworks</li>
<li>Compile, validate, and organize ESG data from global stakeholders</li>
<li>Maintain audit-ready documentation, data trails, and supporting evidence</li>
</ul>
2. ESG Ratings &amp; Questionnaires
<ul>
<li>Support submissions for CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, FTSE, Oxfam</li>
<li>Coordinate data collection for thematic areas: climate, biodiversity, water, labour, HSE, governance</li>
<li>Track progress and follow-ups for timely submissions</li>
</ul>
3. GHG Accounting &amp; ESG Data Management
<ul>
<li>Collect, consolidate, and analyze greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data as per GHG Protocol</li>
<li>Perform data validation, reconciliation, and trend analysis</li>
<li>Maintain ESG databases, trackers, and reporting systems</li>
</ul>
4. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with Finance, Sustainability (CRS), Manufacturing, HR, Risk, and Business Teams</li>
<li>Coordinate with global stakeholders across time zones</li>
<li>Ensure timely closure of data requests and action items</li>
</ul>
5. Technology &amp; Process Support
<ul>
<li>Support ESG tools, carbon accounting platforms, and reporting systems</li>
<li>Assist in automation of ESG data processes</li>
<li>Perform system uploads, testing, and issue resolution</li>
</ul>
6. Analysis &amp; Reporting
<ul>
<li>Analyze ESG data trends and identify gaps or improvement areas</li>
<li>Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership</li>
</ul>
Required Skills &amp; Competencies
<ul>
<li>Strong analytical and data management skills with attention to detail</li>
<li>Experience in ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, TNFD, ISSB)</li>
<li>Knowledge of GHG Protocol and carbon accounting</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint</li>
<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a structured manner</li>
</ul>
Preferred Background
<ul>
<li>Experience in Sustainability Finance, ESG, CSR, or Sustainability Consulting</li>
<li>Exposure to ESG ratings (CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics)</li>
<li>Candidates from Food, Agriculture, or Agri-business sectors preferred</li>
<li>Candidates from ERM or similar consulting firms highly preferred</li>
</ul>
Educational Qualification
