As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in building HiWox's AI-driven wellness intelligence engine, predictive analytics models, and research-backed healthcare algorithms.
Key Responsibilities AI &amp; Predictive Healthcare Models
<ul>
<li>Develop machine learning models for personalized wellness recommendations, health risk prediction, disease prevention, client adherence, and outcome forecasting.</li>
<li>Build AI models that combine biometric data, laboratory reports, wearable data, lifestyle habits, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and mental wellness into personalized insights.</li>
<li>Design predictive analytics for chronic disease risk, wellness scoring, engagement prediction, and behavioral interventions.</li>
</ul>
Wellness Intelligence Engine
<ul>
<li>Design and continuously improve HiWox's Digital Health Intelligence (DHI) scoring system across the 9 dimensions of wellness.</li>
<li>Develop algorithms that generate personalized wellness scores, progress indicators, intervention priorities, and transformation recommendations.</li>
<li>Build explainable AI models that provide transparent and clinically meaningful recommendations.</li>
</ul>
Data Engineering &amp; Analytics
<ul>
<li>Design healthcare data pipelines, ETL workflows, feature engineering processes, and analytical dashboards.</li>
<li>Analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data from diagnostics, wearables, questionnaires, consultations, and user interactions.</li>
<li>Develop dashboards for consultants, corporates, administrators, and leadership teams to monitor health outcomes and business KPIs.</li>
</ul>
Research &amp; Product Innovation
<ul>
<li>Conduct research in preventive healthcare, digital biomarkers, behavioral science, health economics, and AI applications in wellness.</li>
<li>Validate algorithms using scientific literature, public datasets, and real-world evidence.</li>
<li>Collaborate with healthcare scientists to publish research, white papers, and evidence supporting HiWox's methodology.</li>
</ul>
Cross-Functional Collaboration
<ul>
<li>Work closely with AI engineers, product managers, software developers, healthcare professionals, nutritionists, psychologists, and physiotherapists to integrate AI into the HiWox platform.</li>
<li>Translate business and clinical requirements into scalable data science solutions.</li>
</ul>
Data Governance &amp; Privacy
<ul>
<li>Develop secure data handling practices while ensuring compliance with India's DPDP Act and healthcare data privacy principles.</li>
<li>Build ethical AI systems with explainability, fairness, and transparency in mind.</li>
</ul>
Who Should Apply?

<li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.</li>

<li>Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI into the HiWox application.</li>

Equity-Based Opportunity
This is an equity-only founding team role.
There is no fixed salary during the initial bootstrapping phase. Compensation will be introduced after fundraising and revenue stabilization.

Ideal Candidate Profile
<ul>
<li>2–5+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or Analytics.</li>
<li>Experience building end-to-end ML models deployed in production.</li>
<li>Strong GitHub, Kaggle, research publications, or portfolio showcasing practical work.</li>
<li>Experience working with healthcare, wearable, wellness, or biomedical datasets is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Bonus if you've worked in HealthTech, MedTech, Digital Health, AI, or Biomedical Research.</li>
