About the role
We are hiring a hands-on Senior Oracle Cloud Tech Lead to sit at the intersection of our product team and our customers. You will help expand the technical capabilities of Config Agent and Testing Agent — the automation engines our customers rely on for Oracle configuration migration and test execution — and support delivery for customers running these products on live Oracle HCM, ERP, and SCM programs.
This is not a classic implementation consulting role. You will bring deep Oracle technical architecture knowledge into product development: defining how our agents should handle HDL loads, FBDI conversions, extracts, fast formulas, and integration touchpoints; validating product behavior against real Oracle environments; and stepping into customer engagements where deep Oracle expertise is needed to unblock delivery.
What you will do
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Product capability expansion — Partner with product and engineering to design and expand Config Agent and Testing Agent capabilities across Oracle HCM, ERP, and SCM — including configuration migration via HDL, FBDI, setup APIs, and FSM.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Architecture ownership — Define the technical architecture for how Opkey agents discover, extract, transform, and load Oracle configuration and transactional data, and how they validate results post-load.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Conversions &amp; transformations — Bring authoritative expertise on data conversion and transformation strategy — source-to-target mapping, transformation logic, load sequencing, error handling, and reconciliation.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Oracle HCM technical depth — Guide product handling of HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher / OTBI outputs, and HDL business objects so agent automation reflects how Oracle actually behaves in customer environments.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Integrations — Advise on integration patterns across OIC, REST/SOAP web services, and ESS scheduling, and how Opkey automation should exercise and validate them.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; RICEF architecture — Apply full RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms/Workflows) build and architecture experience to shape agent coverage, test design, and configuration scope decisions.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Customer delivery support — Support Config Agent and Testing Agent customers during implementations and quarterly Oracle releases — troubleshooting complex Oracle-side issues, validating agent behavior, and advising customer and SI partner technical teams.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Release advisory — Contribute to technical advisory content on Oracle release cycles (26A–26D and beyond), migration paths, and platform changes that affect customers and product roadmap.
What you bring
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 10–15 years of hands-on Oracle technical experience, with substantial time on Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM required; ERP/SCM strongly preferred).
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Deep, practitioner-level expertise in HDL — business object structures, load orchestration, error resolution, and large-volume conversion strategy.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Proven delivery of data conversions and transformations from legacy systems (EBS, PeopleSoft, SAP, Workday, or homegrown) into Oracle Cloud.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Strong HCM Extracts and Fast Formula development experience, including payroll, absence, and benefits contexts.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Integration build experience across OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, and ESS jobs.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Full-lifecycle RICEF build and architecture experience — you have designed, built, tested, and supported these objects in production.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Working knowledge of Oracle configuration frameworks: FSM, security and roles, flexfields, lookups, value sets, and profile options.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to translate Oracle platform behavior into product requirements — you can explain to engineers why Oracle works the way it does and what automation must account for.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Comfort operating in ambiguity: this role spans product development, technical advisory, and live customer delivery.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Clear written and verbal communication for executive, partner, and customer audiences.
Nice to have
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Exposure to test automation platforms or ERP testing practices.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience with agentic AI, LLM-based tooling, or automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, RPA).
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Redwood / Visual Builder Studio familiarity and awareness of Oracle's UI extensibility direction.
•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prior work with SI partner delivery teams on Oracle Cloud programs.
