About the Role
We're looking for a Social Media &amp; Organic Growth Specialist to build and scale our organic brand presence across social media platforms and YouTube. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands social-first storytelling, internet culture, content strategy, and community building.
Beyond creating engaging content, you'll be responsible for developing content IPs (recurring formats, series, and shows) that audiences recognize, return to, and share. You'll also leverage your understanding of SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and Online Reputation Management (ORM) to ensure every piece of content strengthens the brand's visibility across search engines, AI answer platforms, and online conversations.
Your primary focus will be organic growth—driving reach, engagement, brand awareness, and audience loyalty without relying heavily on paid media.
Key Responsibilities 1. Social Media &amp; Organic Growth
<ul>
<li>Own the day-to-day management of the brand's social media channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.</li>
<li>Develop and execute content calendars aligned with business, marketing, and brand objectives.</li>
<li>Create, curate, and publish engaging content across formats including posts, carousels, reels, stories, shorts, and videos.</li>
<li>Produce content designed to earn organic reach, engagement, and shares rather than simply maintaining a posting schedule.</li>
<li>Stay on top of platform trends, memes, creator formats, and algorithm updates, adapting them creatively while maintaining the brand voice.</li>
<li>Write compelling, platform-native copy and captions.</li>
<li>Build and nurture an active community by responding to comments, messages, and conversations in a timely and authentic manner.</li>
</ul>
2. YouTube Growth &amp; Content IP Development
<ul>
<li>Own and grow the brand's YouTube presence across both long-form content and Shorts.</li>
<li>Conceptualize, launch, and scale recurring content IPs, series, and shows that build audience loyalty and brand recall.</li>
<li>Collaborate with presenters, editors, designers, and production teams to maintain consistency in quality, publishing cadence, and format identity.</li>
<li>Optimize titles, thumbnails, descriptions, chapters, and metadata to maximize discoverability and audience retention.</li>
<li>Analyze content performance to identify winning formats, double down on successful content, and continuously iterate on underperforming concepts.</li>
</ul>
3. SEO, AEO &amp; Search Visibility
<ul>
<li>Apply SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) best practices across social and video content to improve discoverability on Google Search, YouTube, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI-powered search experiences.</li>
<li>Optimize metadata, descriptions, keywords, transcripts, and content structure for long-term organic visibility.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the SEO and Content teams to align social content with strategic keyword and topic priorities.</li>
</ul>
4. Online Reputation Management (ORM)
<ul>
<li>Monitor conversations and public sentiment across social platforms, Reddit, Quora, review sites, and community forums.</li>
<li>Identify emerging negative narratives or reputation risks and escalate them to the appropriate stakeholders.</li>
<li>Ensure organic content consistently reinforces an authentic, trustworthy, and positive brand narrative.</li>
<li>Support initiatives that improve brand perception and strengthen online credibility.</li>
</ul>
5. Organic Growth Strategy &amp; Reporting
<ul>
<li>Track and report key organic performance metrics including:
<ul>
<li>Reach</li>
<li>Engagement</li>
<li>Follower growth</li>
<li>Share of Voice</li>
<li>Watch time</li>
<li>Audience retention</li>
<li>YouTube channel performance</li>
</ul>

<li>Run structured content experiments with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and documented learnings.</li>
<li>Develop repeatable playbooks around high-performing formats and growth strategies.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with Design, Content, Marketing, and Product teams to align organic initiatives with larger campaigns and launches.</li>
<li>Support product launches, campaigns, and announcements through strategic organic amplification.</li>
</ul>
Key Requirements
<ul>
<li>1–3 years of experience managing brand or creator social media accounts with demonstrated success in driving organic growth.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms, particularly Instagram and YouTube.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and YouTube search optimization.</li>
<li>Understanding of Online Reputation Management (ORM) principles and how organic content influences brand perception.</li>
<li>Experience building or contributing to recurring content formats, creator series, or branded content IPs is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent copywriting skills with a strong understanding of platform-specific tone and voice.</li>
<li>Strong awareness of internet culture, trends, and emerging content formats.</li>
<li>Experience using social media analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite and YouTube Studio.</li>
<li>Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and other AI-powered content and research tools.</li>
<li>Experience with social media management platforms like Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar tools is a plus.</li>
<li>Prior experience working in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred.</li>
