The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in mobile application development, architecture, performance optimization, reliability, and API integration. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to build scalable consumer-facing mobile experiences.
This role is suited for an engineer who can operate independently, make sound technical decisions, contribute to architecture, and mentor other developers. Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain&nbsp;scalable, high-performance mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.</li>
<li>Own mobile features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through testing, release, and monitoring.</li>
<li>Design and implement robust mobile architecture and reusable components.</li>
<li>Work closely with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, push notifications, deep linking, and real-time services.</li>
<li>Optimize application performance, including startup time, memory usage, network performance, battery consumption, and UI responsiveness.</li>
<li>Build reliable applications with strong error handling, observability, logging, analytics, and monitoring.</li>
<li>Establish and improve automated testing, CI/CD, build, release, and deployment workflows.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.</li>
<li>Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.</li>
<li>Identify technical risks and proactively improve application stability, maintainability, and developer productivity.</li>
<li>Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the mobile engineering team.</li>

<li>Experience building AI-powered or real-time consumer applications.</li>
<li>Experience with WebSocket-based real-time communication.</li>
<li>Experience with performance initiatives involving battery, networking, lifecycle, or background execution.</li>
<li>Experience building mobile analytics, experimentation, or user-journey tracking systems.</li>
<li>Experience working on applications serving millions of users or sessions.</li>
<li>Experience taking a mobile product from 0-to-1 through production launch and subsequent scale.</li>
<li>Experience contributing to mobile platform/infrastructure initiatives. Education 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
