<p><b>About the Role:</b></p>
<p><b>&nbsp;</b>We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated&nbsp;<b>full-stack Python Product Engineer</b> to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development of our next-generation <b>Analytics Platform for the Life Sciences industry</b>. This platform, featuring a suite of innovative AI-Apps, helps users solve critical problems across the life sciences value chain, from product launch and brand management to salesforce optimization.</p>
<p>As a Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of core components of our platform. You will work across frontend, backend, data, and platform layers using Python and modern frameworks to help build scalable, reliable, and high-quality analytical applications that deliver meaningful insights to users.</p>

<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications using Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask.</li>
<li>Contribute to building a modern, AI-enabled analytical applications platform by implementing well-defined features and components.</li>
<li>Develop server-side logic and integrate user-facing elements in collaboration with front-end developers.</li>
<li>Design and implement data storage solutions using relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.</li>
<li>Build, integrate, and consume APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL) and third-party services.</li>
<li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.</li>
<li>Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.</li>
<li>Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.</li>
<li>Contribute to data pipelines and backend services handling large-scale datasets using technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, or Snowflake.</li>
<li>Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using tools like Jenkins/GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes.</li>
<li>Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.</li>
<li>Assist in integrating AI/ML models into applications, including analytics and generative AI use cases, under guidance from senior team members.</li>
<li>Participate in code reviews, accept feedback constructively, and continuously improve technical skills.</li>
<li>Contribute to documentation and help maintain a culture of quality, learning, and continuous improvement.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.</li>
<li>2–4+ years of hands-on experience in Python-based software development in a product-oriented environment.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Python with experience in frameworks such as Django (including ORM and REST Framework) or Flask.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of core computer science concepts, including object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms.</li>
<li>Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.</li>
<li>Familiarity with data processing and backend technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Airbyte, Databricks, or Snowflake is a plus.</li>
<li>Basic experience or working knowledge of front-end technologies like React or Angular.</li>
<li>Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including compute, storage, and database services.</li>
<li>Familiarity with CI/CD practices, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).</li>
<li>Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest or Unittest and a commitment to writing automated tests.</li>
<li>Interest or exposure to analytics and AI/ML-powered applications is desirable.</li>
<li>Knowledge of life sciences or healthcare data and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA) is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.</li>
