Role Overview
Growloc is seeking a proactive Operations &amp; Supply Chain Intern to support our farm-to-market ecosystem for exotic fresh produce. This role offers hands-on experience in procurement, logistics, and vendor management within a fast-growing Agri-Tech startup.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Procurement: Source exotic vegetables, negotiate pricing, and onboard new farmers/vendors.</li>
<li>Operations: Manage daily inbound/outbound activities and ensure timely order fulfilment.</li>
<li>Market Intelligence: Visit wholesale markets to track pricing trends and supplier availability.</li>
<li>Quality Control: Supervise sorting, grading, and packing to maintain high freshness standards.</li>
<li>Coordination: Liaise between procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to resolve operational challenges.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Students or recent graduates in Supply Chain, Operations, Agriculture, or MBA.</li>
<li>Strong communication and negotiation skills.</li>
<li>Comfortable with fieldwork and market visits.</li>
<li>Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.</li>
<li>Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.</li>
