Brief Job Description:&nbsp; We are seeking a motivated QC Engineer – Intern to join our Quality department in a robotics manufacturing environment. The intern will support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities for mechanical components and assemblies, gaining hands-on exposure to quality control systems, measurement techniques, and documentation practices. This role is ideal for a fresh Mechanical Engineering graduate looking to build a career in quality assurance within a fast-paced product development setting.
Job Responsibilities: 1. Assist in incoming quality inspection of mechanical components against&nbsp; drawings and specifications. 2.Support in-process and final inspection activities for sub-assemblies and finished&nbsp; products. 3.Record and maintain inspection data, checklists, and quality reports accurately. 4.Learn and apply measurement techniques using standard instruments (vernier&nbsp; caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.). 5.Assist in identifying and documenting nonconformities and rejections. 6.Support the QC team in root cause analysis of recurring defects. 7.Coordinate with production and stores teams for inspection scheduling and material flow. 8.Participate in internal quality audits and 5S/housekeeping activities within the QC area.
Skills required: - Basic understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances, and GD&amp;T fundamentals - Familiarity with measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, micrometer, dial gauge) - Basic knowledge of quality concepts and inspection methods - Proficiency in MS Excel/Word for report documentation - Good observation skills and attention to detail - Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on shop-floor environment - Good communication and teamwork skills
