Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced&nbsp;Senior Data Analyst – Collibra&nbsp;to join a global banking technology team supporting enterprise-wide Data Governance initiatives. The role focuses on developing and maintaining Collibra-based data governance solutions, metadata management, workflow automation, and integrations while collaborating with global teams in a highly regulated banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data governance solutions using Collibra.</li>
<li>Configure and customize the Collibra platform, including asset types, relationships, domains, and workflows.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain Java/Groovy-based workflows and automation.</li>
<li>Manage Collibra EDGE installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.</li>
<li>Build and manage integrations using Collibra APIs and enterprise API gateways.</li>
<li>Support metadata ingestion from enterprise data sources and automate onboarding processes.</li>
<li>Manage user roles, permissions, licenses, and access control within Collibra.</li>
<li>Analyze Collibra platform releases, perform regression testing, and coordinate release deployments.</li>
<li>Collaborate with business, governance, and technology teams to improve data quality and governance practices.</li>
<li>Follow Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices throughout the software development lifecycle.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with banking, regulatory, and enterprise governance standards.</li>
</ul>
Must-Have Requirements
<ul>
<li>8+ years of IT experience.</li>
<li>5+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra.</li>
<li>Strong expertise in Collibra metamodel, asset types, relationships, and platform customization.</li>
<li>Experience with Collibra EDGE integration and metadata ingestion.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience developing workflows using Java or Groovy.</li>
<li>Strong SQL and database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent).</li>
<li>Experience in data modelling, data analysis, and complex SQL querying.</li>
<li>Good understanding of Data Governance concepts and Collibra security model.</li>
<li>Experience working in Agile/SDLC environments.</li>
<li>Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.</li>
</ul>
Good to Have
<ul>
<li>Banking or Financial Services experience.</li>
<li>Experience with cloud data platforms.</li>
<li>Exposure to microservices architecture.</li>
<li>Experience with data pipelines and metadata automation.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Power BI or other visualization tools.</li>
</ul>
