Dodo Payments

<p>Dodo Payments is the Monetisation Engine for AI-native products. We're a Merchant of Record + Billing &amp; Monetization platform that helps SaaS, AI, and digital businesses accept payments globally, automate billing (subscriptions, usage-based, one-time), and stay fully compliant with taxes and regulations in 220+ countries.</p>
<p>We collect payments on behalf of thousands of businesses, then remit to their accounts. This creates unique complexity: multi-entity accounting, FX management, global tax compliance, and real-time payout orchestration across 220+ countries.</p>
<p>We're looking for a sharp, operationally excellent Finance Controller to own the financial engine that makes this work.</p>
<p><b>Role Overview</b></p>
<p>You will build and scale the financial operations infrastructure, manage cash flow across entities, ensure regulatory compliance globally, and provide strategic financial insights to the founders.</p>
<p>This is an on-site role in Bengaluru, reporting directly to the founders.</p>
<p><b>What You'll Own</b></p>

<li>Payout operations to businesses worldwide</li>
<li>Foreign exchange strategy and hedging</li>
<li>Global sales tax, VAT, GST compliance (220+ countries)</li>
<li>Cash flow forecasting and treasury management</li>
<li>Financial close, MIS, and investor reporting</li>
<li>Payroll, reimbursements, and operational finance</li>
</ul>
<p>If the books don't close, tax isn't filed, or payouts fail - this role owns fixing it.</p>
<p><b>What You'll Do</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Own accounting for multiple entities across jurisdictions</li>
<li>Manage global payouts to thousands of businesses on the platform</li>
<li>Execute FX hedging and manage multi-currency treasury</li>
<li>Ensure global tax compliance, filings, and audits</li>
<li>Produce monthly MIS, cash flow reports, and board packages</li>
<li>Drive financial close, GAAP/IFRS compliance, and audits</li>
<li>Manage payroll, AP/AR, and operational finance</li>
<li>Build scalable finance systems and automation</li>
</ul>
<p><b>What You Bring</b></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>2-7 years in finance</strong></li>
<li>CA/CPA or equivalent accounting qualification required</li>
<li>Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of global tax compliance (VAT, GST, sales tax)</li>
<li>Strong grasp of treasury, cash flow, and FX management</li>
<li>Proven ability to scale finance operations in high-growth startups</li>
<li>Comfort working directly with founders and boards</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience in payments, fintech, or Merchant of Record businesses</li>
<li>Background in global tax compliance automation</li>
<li>Experience managing external audits and investor due diligence</li>
