About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior MySQL Developer with 6–10 years of strong hands-on experience in database development, query optimization, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in MySQL/Amazon Aurora MySQL, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing, and database performance optimization.
The candidate will work closely with application developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to design efficient database solutions, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure reliable handling of business-critical data.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex database problems, improving query performance, and working with large-scale production databases.
Key ResponsibilitiesMySQL &amp; Aurora Development

Query Optimization &amp; Performance Tuning

Analyze and optimize slow or complex SQL queries.

Use EXPLAIN and EXPLAIN ANALYZE to understand query execution plans.

Identify performance bottlenecks related to queries, indexes, joins, and database design.

Data &amp; Database Management

Work with large datasets and high-transaction database environments.

Perform data validation, migration, and transformation when required.

Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across applications.

Collaboration &amp; Ownership

Must-Have Skills
