Role:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Business Analyst - Payments (Retail/Ecommerce) Location: &nbsp;&nbsp;Seattle, WA 
Duration: &nbsp;12+ Months
Role Overview We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in Payments and hands-on experience in Retail/Ecommerce domain. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications, supporting payment integrations, and ensuring seamless transaction flows across digital commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for payment systems and ecommerce platforms</li>
<li>Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define payment workflows (card, digital wallets, gateways, POS)</li>
<li>Support integrations with payment processors, gateways, and third-party systems (OMS, ERP, fraud tools)</li>
<li>Analyze transaction flows including authorization, settlement, refunds, and chargebacks</li>
<li>Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flow diagrams</li>
<li>Participate in UAT, validate test cases, and ensure business requirements are met</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with payment standards such as PCI-DSS and security best practices</li>
</ul>
Required Skills:
<ul>
<li>Strong experience in Payments domain (cards, gateways, digital payments, POS)</li>
<li>Experience in Retail/Ecommerce platforms and order lifecycle</li>
<li>Knowledge of payment integrations, APIs, and transaction processing</li>
<li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies</li>
<li>Strong stakeholder communication and analytical skills</li>
</ul>
Preferred:
<ul>
<li>Experience with global payment systems and multi-currency environments</li>
<li>Exposure to fraud prevention and risk systems.</li>
</ul>
