Agile Technical Delivery Lead

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager/ Agile Delivery Lead with a strong background in Agile delivery, Scrum practices, and business-oriented thinking within Data &amp; Analytics programs. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience leading cross-functional teams, driving end-to-end agile project delivery, developing a strong functional understanding of the data products and managing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the Pharma &amp; Life Sciences domain and working with modern cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Databricks and Tableau (BI) is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple Agile projects while ensuring delivery commitments, quality, productivity, and adherence to timelines.</li>
<li>Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Quarterly PI planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives with effective use of Jira, Confluence and other project management tools.</li>
<li>Ensure Epics, Features, and User Stories are well-structured, appropriately linked, and include clear acceptance criteria, dependencies, and sufficient business and technical context.</li>
<li>Coach and mentor delivery teams to improve Agile maturity and delivery excellence. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and delivery processes.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Engineering teams, QA, and business stakeholders to define priorities and ensure successful delivery with geographically distributed teams.</li>
<li>Manage project scope with available team capacity, identify risks &amp; dependencies and track issue resolution.</li>
<li>Track project progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint burndown, release burndown, cycle time, and team capacity.</li>
<li>Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates in Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.</li>
<li>Develop a strong functional understanding of data products and perform user-level validation of delivered features to ensure business expectations are met.</li>
<li>Understand business challenges and proactively drive solution-oriented thinking throughout the delivery lifecycle.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Leverage approved AI tools to improve delivery productivity, planning, documentation, and quality, while encouraging engineering teams to adopt AI-assisted best practices where appropriate.</li>
<li>Continuously build sufficient functional and technical knowledge of the platform to participate in meaningful discussions with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders, rather than limiting the role to delivery coordination.</li>
<li>Flexible to work in a global onsite-offshore delivery model, ensuring adequate overlap with customer time zones to support effective collaboration.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>8+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years as a Technical Project Lead, Agile Delivery Lead, or Scrum Master.</li>
<li>Mandatory Scrum certification:
<ul>
<li>Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or</li>
<li>Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Proven experience delivering Data &amp; Analytics projects with a strong working understanding of technologies such as:
<ul>
<li>AWS, Databricks</li>
<li>Tableau or similar BI platforms</li>
<li>ETL/Data Integration platforms</li>
<li>Diagramming tools such as Lucidchart and Microsoft Visio</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Experience managing multiple Agile teams and Jira boards simultaneously.</li>
<li>Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills</li>
</ul>
Preferred Experience
<ul>
<li>Prior hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Technical Lead, or Software Engineer before transitioning into Agile Delivery is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Experience presenting delivery updates, risks, and roadmap progress to senior business and technology stakeholders</li>
<li>Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar Agile project management tools.</li>
