Job Summary
The Purchase Executive is responsible for day-to-day procurement activities, including material purchasing,vendor coordination, documentation, and logistics support. The role ensures timely availability of materials for&nbsp;EPC projects while maintaining cost control and proper records.
Key Responsibilities
1. Purchase &amp; Vendor Coordination
Raise and process purchase orders as per project requirements. Coordinate with vendors for order confirmation,pricing, and delivery timelines. Follow up to ensure on-time material delivery.
2. Material &amp; Documentation Control
Ensure material specifications match approved BOM. Manage MDCC, test certificates, warranty documents, and&nbsp;other required dispatch paperwork.
3. Logistics &amp; Dispatch Support
Coordinate packing lists and dispatch details with vendors and logistics teams. Track production and dispatch&nbsp;schedules to avoid site delays.
4. Inventory &amp; Warehouse Coordination
Check warehouse stock before raising new purchase requests. Verify GRNs against purchase orders and resolve&nbsp;material shortages or mismatches.
5. Vendor Invoice &amp; Payment Support
Process proforma and tax invoices and coordinate with finance for timely vendor payments. Support vendor ledger&nbsp;reconciliation as required.
6. Reporting &amp; Cost Tracking
Update purchase trackers and budget sheets. Share regular updates on purchase status, inventory, and vendor&nbsp;performance.
Qualifications &amp; Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in&nbsp;purchase or procurement, preferably in EPC, Solar, or Construction industry.
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of ERP/SAP or Tally, good Excel skills, vendor coordination, documentation handling, and clear&nbsp;communication.
