Job Description – Procurement Manager&nbsp;
Role Summary: The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for EPC projects, ensuring timely material availability, cost optimization, and strong vendor coordination. The role also includes leading and managing the procurement team, monitoring vendor performance, and ensuring smooth coordination with project, logistics, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage the procurement team, allocate tasks, and monitor daily purchasing activities.</li>
<li>Develop procurement plans based on project requirements, BOQ, and timelines.</li>
<li>Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors; negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms.</li>
<li>Ensure timely purchase order processing, material delivery, and supply coordination with project teams.</li>
<li>Oversee documentation such as MDCC, test certificates, warranty documents, and dispatch records.</li>
<li>Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for inventory management and dispatch tracking.</li>
<li>Support finance for vendor invoice verification, payment processing, and cost tracking.</li>
<li>Prepare procurement reports, monitor budgets, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.</li>

Qualifications &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce or related field.</li>
<li>5–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in Solar EPC, Infrastructure, or Construction industry.</li>
<li>Experience in team handling and vendor management.</li>
</ul>
Skills: Vendor negotiation, procurement planning, Excel proficiency, team leadership, and strong communication skills.
