Job Description
We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in Cypress and Playwright to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, reliability, and security of our software applications through both manual and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software quality and adherence to specifications.
</li>
<li>
Conduct thorough manual testing to identify defects and areas for improvement.
</li>
<li>
Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Cypress and Playwright for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
</li>
<li>
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align testing strategies with business goals.
</li>
<li>
Perform regression testing, load testing, and stress testing to ensure system stability.
</li>
<li>
Conduct basic security testing such as vulnerability identification, input validation checks, and authentication/authorization testing.
</li>
<li>
Investigate, analyze, and resolve customer-reported issues through root cause analysis.
</li>
<li>
Lead and participate in triage meetings to prioritize and resolve identified defects.
</li>
<li>
Stay updated with the latest QA tools, cybersecurity practices, methodologies, and best practices, and implement improvements within the team.
</li>

Requirements Education:
<ul>
<li>
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>
3–6 years of experience in software quality assurance.
</li>
<li>
Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies.
</li>
</ul>
Technical Skills:
<ul>
<li>
Proficiency in Cypress and Playwright for automation testing.
</li>
<li>
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman and Karate.
</li>
<li>
Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design, and execution.
</li>
<li>
Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and vulnerability assessment.
</li>
</ul>
Soft Skills:
<ul>
<li>
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
</li>
<li>
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
</li>
<li>
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
